2010-11 has been quite busy so far, with the following great news:

 

-       I continue to write an art and culture column for the online edition of the San Francisco Chronicle, SFGate.com, a blog which you can see at http://www.sfgate.com/citybrights/authors/

 

-       I also have just been tapped to write a column on the arts for the San Francisco Edition of The Huffington Post, starting July 2011.

 

-       I was appointed Vice President of the San Francisco Arts Commission, where I also serve on the Executive Committee and the Visual Arts Committee [see http://www.sfartscommission.org/about/commissioners/index.htm ]

 

-       I resigned from the San Francisco Arts Commission in July 2011 as I was appointed the Interim Executive Director of the San Francisco Arts Commission.

 

More news to come, including "The Magic Story Table, Bishkek," an exhibition and residency in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and the debut of a new film work in January 2012 for the Getty Institute's watershed "Pacific Standard Time" project, at venues in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
